Another week of a first time tour major champion. Jason Dufner (
@jasondufner) was the steady hand over a week of struggles for his colleagues. Dufner hit a -2 on Thursday to stay in the hunt, then set a new record for PGA Majors with a -7/63 on Friday to put himself in the driver's seat. Sunday the tournament was all his, as he out dueled his playing partner Jim Furyk to win by 2 strokes, by the last few holes, he really didn't need to do much than hit par or bogey. Dufner's casual style and less than impressive physique has some people thinking he's not intense, but you have to be intense to win a major, and Dufner has that in his resume now.
