This is one of those week's in which an individual effort carried the flame for the Sportsman of the Week. On Saturday April 21, Philip Humber strolled through 27 Mariners up, 27 down (maybe 26.5, more in a minute). He had 11 career wins coming into the game. A top draft pick (one after Justin Verlander in 2004) had largely been labeled a miss at best, bust at worst. Back to the last out, No thanks to Fox for never showing us a good angle, but this one convinced me that Ryan pulled the head through the strike zone. The effort more than worthy of Longhorndave Sportsman of the Week!
